We’re looking for a Clinical Education Specialist to join our U.S. Commercial team and provide clinical support, education and technical expertise to new and existing users of Creo Medical’s gastrointestinal (GI) devices.
This is a highly field-based role where you’ll work directly with clinicians, supporting them through training, mentoring and hands-on clinical guidance to help ensure the safe, appropriate and optimal use of Creo products.
About the role:
As a Clinical Education Specialist, you’ll be a trusted clinical partner to our customers, providing on-site support and education in both Endoscopy Suite and Operating Room environments.
Working closely with our wider commercial team, you’ll support clinicians throughout their experience with Creo products, from initial training and equipment installation through to ongoing education and procedural support.
You’ll combine clinical knowledge, technical expertise and strong relationship-building skills to build clinician confidence, support effective product use and ultimately help deliver the best possible outcomes for patients.
What you'll be doing:
Clinical Training & Support
Deliver product training and hands-on education to physicians, nurses and other clinical professionals.
Coach clinicians on the appropriate and optimal use of Creo products.
Provide clinical and technical support in Endoscopy Suite and Operating Room settings.
Train new clinicians and provide ongoing support to existing Creo product users within your assigned region.
Identify further training needs and provide additional education and support where appropriate.
Act as a trusted advisor and product advocate throughout all phases of product training and clinical use.
Customer Education
Manage and deliver training courses for physicians, nurses and new Creo employees.
Support in-vivo and ex-vivo laboratory training to help develop and embed Creo clinical pathways.
Follow up on key equipment installations to ensure customers understand the technology and can use it effectively.
Educate customers and Creo colleagues on relevant disease states, clinical pathways, procedures and emerging technologies within the GI and OR environment.
Maintain strong knowledge of Creo’s current and future products and technologies.
Commercial Collaboration
Work closely with the Area Vice President of Sales and Territory Managers to support utilization of Creo’s current and future products within existing customer accounts.
Monitor and track equipment usage to help understand product utilization.
Share clinical insight and expertise with the wider commercial team.
Proactively keep colleagues informed about new technologies and procedures within the GI and OR space.
What we are looking for:
You’ll bring relevant experience from a medical, clinical or healthcare environment, potentially as a nurse, technician or in another clinical/customer support role.
You’ll also have:
Experience working within Operating Rooms and/or Endoscopy Suites.
Experience delivering clinical training at different levels.
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clinicians.
An organized and methodical approach, with the ability to manage your own workload and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail.
The ability to problem-solve and respond confidently in a fast-moving clinical environment.
A technically minded approach and an interest in medical technology.
A proactive approach, with a sense of urgency and focus on delivering results.
A reliable, flexible and collaborative approach to work.
You’ll have a degree and/or relevant experience in nursing, medicine, healthcare or a related clinical field.
This is a field-based position. The role requires extensive travel, approximately 70–80%, to provide on-site clinical support, training and education to customers. You’ll therefore need to be comfortable travelling regularly and able to effectively cover the assigned region.
